Peer Support

Peer mentoring is a new service available at The Corner House.  The purpose of the project is to encourage people who have experienced mental health difficulties to support new referrals to the centre to set and achieve personal goals.

The Peer Mentors are recruited and trained to OCN standard and then matched with a mentee, based upon similar experiences and interests.

Peer mentors commit to offering an hour a week,  for eight weeks, to meet with their mentor in the local community, to discuss progress, and next steps.  Please click here for our leaflet.
